The Heart Connection Children's Cancer Programs provides programs and services to more than 450 families from every corner of Iowa and surrounding states each year. Here are just a few of the accomplishments we achieved in 2008.

• Over 450 active families throughout Iowa
• 129 oncology campers
• 160 sibling campers
• 50 kids attended Mid-Year Reunion
• 16 families attended one of two Family Camps
• 45 young cancer survivors served through The Survivorship Connection
• 28 families participated in Club HOPE
• 98 Family Resource Kits distributed
• 260 children used “Beads for Bravery” Program
• 260 toys were given to children from “The Poke Box”
• 29 Families Adopted for the Holidays
